What makes the most organized couponer? The couponer with the most kids. No really! Hear me out on this. A college kid who has time to party, blow money and adopt cats may be able to remember when the next paper is due and where the next kegger is and may be very good at collecting and using coupons.... BUT THE MOM who coupons has even more on her plate and more incentive to coupon. Do you want to wear the Tinkerbell makeup forever? No, eventually you would like to move up to Bare Minerals or even just Mac, but after a few blowouts, you would rather have Huggies than new lip gloss.

But it gets better.Who is the most efficient couponing mom? The mom with 6 kidlets! Obviously there are 6 agendas going on and only 2 arms. That means she has to use her time and resources wisely... because clearly she will never sleep again, but she deserves to never sleep again in AMAZING lip gloss! 

I have found this woman. And not only does she have it all together, even when she doesn't think she does, her kids never know. Case in point: camping on a gravel road seems like it must suck, she figures if you don't tell the kids how wretched it is, maybe they wont notice! They didn't.

Tiffany is the proud owner of a Litter of Six. You can get everything from couponing 101's to comedic dramas that are her life. I was reading her site while nursing the baby and laughed so hard I choked.

Facebook Fan'ing

So a while back I set up a fan page on my secondary facebook.... and when I learned how to integrate it with blogspot I set it up under my actual page which connected a fan page (before you had to set up a separate account as a fan page was just like a profile page.) So for now I am removing the fan page option as THAT is not the page that updates with my blog posts. When I figure it out I will re-ask you to fan me. Thanks!

It's going to be a slow day - SORRY!!!

It's my first day alone with my precious little Atlas. In-laws left yesterday, Daddy works until noon or later. I have a list of stuff to do, and it doesn't include blogging. I will get back to this sometime after Daddy gets home!

I value my readers so come back! Just be patient... I'm still learning this whole thing. Now to take Atlas anddddd the dog out... lol. This should be interesting!

Not so far behind!

I know a lot of us post the same stuff all day long, others wait on the readers and some actually do their own research and shopping.

Looking over all the readers, I really never got far behind even though I took off 4 days after Atlas was born. And I only had a dozen or so emails from companies I am on the mail lists for. Not so shabby.

This is open to friends and family. As you know we are due to have a baby boy within a month! We did this kind of poll for our nephew just over 3 years ago, but we only included a few of us.

UPDATE: no pics. no sonogram. very sad. Something wrong with the order and apparently Aetna doesn't cover "routine" even though all three times I called and asked they said all I had to have was a doctors order. The good news is there is nothing wrong, but still makes me sad that I have been waiting so long to see him again and can't.

OK this isn't a money-saving post... so shoot me.
We are having our final sonogram today!

Ohhhh ok save money: Work for a company who uses Aetna! We pay about .20 a paycheck and our benefits ROCK!!!! A sonogram is about $20 after our $650 deductible! 

I can't wait to see our little man in all his pudginess! I'll be back around 2-ish I guess and after my jog I will post a picture. I am so excited I can't sleep... obviously as I got off work at mid-night and have been awake for a good hour.

I just LOVE our little bump of magic!

BIG DAY!!!

... Mom is throwing me a baby shower in her brand new house! Last year her home burned down and the family staying in it was forced to move somewhere else. This opened up the door to mom finally building her dream house that I have personally been hearing about for almost 31 years. This will be sorta a housewarming too! I can't wait to see how she has done, almost completely by herself!

If you have noticed my links broken, that is because I am no longer using logicalmedia. Long drawn out story I wont bore you with. But I am now going to be using several NEW advertisers.

As you know, most if not all of us bloggers use affiliate sites in hopes of making a few extra bucks while doing what we love: providing our readers with the coolest giveaways, best deals, tons of coupons and freebies and the occasional ad to click on.

I found that with my previous advertiser I was getting offers for Hoverounds and travel guides... and YOU weren't clicking on them. No surprise. A few loyal gals out there in the cyberhood knew that I was getting a small compensation (and by small I mean up to 40 cents per email address) but I think I have found some sites that will let me pick better offers.

Cheap plane tickets, clothing store deals, baby products and other actually useful products.

So please let me know if there are any posts or ads that really hit the spot or just don't interest you in the slightest. Doesn't exactly mean I will quit posting them or having them on my sidebar, just means that I really want to tailor my site to YOU so that I can make a small profit off of what YOU want. Many of them will be commission based, so if you aren't buying, I am wasting my time and my webspace.... not to forget turning you guys off and I dont want you leaving.

It will take a few days to get completely changed over, so be patient. I will be posting links from others, so whoever I credit the post to will get the click through count!

I can't tell you how shocked I was today when I was scanning my reader feeds looking for great deals that I have missed. Kay over at ReapingYourHarvest picked my blog as her Pick Of The Week!

How incredibly flattering!

It really takes a little dab of OCD and a patient spouse for any of us to continue posting the deals that are out there right now, and I certainly couldn't do it without all of my favorite bloggers. You can look to the left and somewhere down the line is a list of buttons to click on to view my favorite blogs! Or you will find that the blog posts I pull from other sites will credit where they came from, once you get there you may have to click their HOME button to get to the top of their lists, but it will be worth it!

Also, make sure you subscribe to MY reader! (And all of your favorite bloggers readers!) You will get a daily email with the latest deals and steals listed right there!

RANT and VENT - part 1

I will elaborate more tomorrow.

1. Winn-Dixie no longer takes IP (Internet Printed) coupons
2. Winn-Dixie doesn't always honor their own ads... even told me I should have brought it with me
3. Winn-Dixie will only take 1 coupon for B1G1 items.. even though you are purchasing 2 items
4. Winn-Dixie catalinas ($10/$50) quit printing for me the moment they switched to the Fuel-Perks Card

Lessons learned:
1. Winn-Dixie (at least this one in particular.. ok 2 of them) sucks
2. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS carry the coupon policy with you
3. Just to be safe, carry the damn ads
4. When you find a store (Ruthann's Cheap Publix) that you like LOVE... just suck it up and stick with it even if you pay a few dollars more on those apples or that cheese you wanted to catch on sale at Winn-Dixie... the aggravation is simply NOT worth it.
