Old Navy - Costumes for a buck FRIDAY ONLY!

Waterford Lakes said they open 10 - starting at $2 for toddlers .... OKOK so I wont find MY costume, but I will have a 6 month old next Halloween and maybe I can find a cute little monkey suit!

You can get a FREE Antibacterial Pocketbac Sanitizer with ANY purchase (no minimum required). This coupon is good through November 1st!!!

Guess the Bar Code - Amaze your friends! (Just for fun!)

How to Read 12 Digit UPC Barcodes

This is a featured article. Click here for more information.

Most bar codes in the US are 12-digit UPC (Universal Product Code) barcodes, with ten digits at the bottom of the code and one small number to each side. Impress your friends by asking them to select a random item from the kitchen with a removable label and cut the numbers off of the UPC barcode; you can then proceed to read the numbers encoded in the lines.

  1. Note that barcodes are made up of both white and black lines. The white spaces in between the black lines are part of the code.
  2. Understand that there are four different thicknesses to the lines. Henceforth, the skinniest line will be referred to as "1," the medium-sized line as "2," the next largest line as "3." and the thickest is "4."
  3. Each UPC barcode begins and ends with 101 (thin black, thin white, thin black). In the very middle of the barcode, you will notice two thin black lines sticking down between the numbers. The thin white between them, as well as the thin whites to either side, make up a 01010. Each UPC barcode has 01010 in the middle.
  4. Image:UPC_EANUCC 12_barcode.png
  5. Recognize that each digit, including the small numbers that begin and end the barcode, has its own unique four-line set. 0 = 3211, 1 = 2221, 2 = 2122, 3 = 1411, 4 = 1132, 5 = 1231, 6 = 1114, 7 = 1312, 8 = 1213, 9 = 3112. (Note that the sum of bar widths numbers is 7 for all codes because each code is 7 units wide.)
  6. So, the barcode above whose first two digits are 03 would start out "10132111411". Broken down this is "101-3211-1411" where 101 marks the beginning of the bar code and 3211 marks the digit 0 .

I have not smoked in 20 months (October 15th) NEVER thought that would happen! I smoked since I was 16!!! I was a totally stupid peer-inspired idiot. After 14 years with a wedding date set I wanted to be the princess bride in the beautiful dress... I didn't want to miss a moment of my own party to run outside to smoke plus I wanted to smell good. My husband quit almost 9 months before me, the pressure was on! But I did it!

Hubby used the patch, I used Committ. Different things for different folks. Either way, you can try this for FREE and get a high priced coupon to help you out!

Do you feel lucky?

There are several sweepstakes you can enter to win money, gift cards and coupons.

1. Go HERE to play the Dole Flip A Fruit Game and you might win a $10 grocery Visa card. Plus everyone earns an entry towards the Grand Prize AND you can print a coupon for 50 cents off Dole canned fruit, fruit bowls, all natural fruit jars or frozen fruit!

2. Go HERE to try to win $1000 for groceries. Enter daily! If you don't win, you have a really great chance at winning coupons to print.

3. Go HERE to play the ConAgra Foods Recession Payback game. After playing the game you will choose your coupon. **Make sure to hit your browser’s back button before you choose another coupon and you will be able to print two. Do not select your next coupon until your current one is done printing.

(so far I have used my actual email address and not received any spam or anything! You will use the same address each day to log in and try again to win.)
