Walmart - Coupon Policy (a few details)

The Krazy Coupon Lady wrote about Walmart's coupon policy and if they accept Target Web coupons. Here is what she had to say about it:
  • Walmart’s new policy states that they will only accept “Competitors’ coupons that feature a specific item for a specified price. For example, $2.99″
  • They specifically prohibit “Competitors’ coupons for dollars/cents or percentage off, buy one get one free, and double- or triple-value coupons”, which almost all Target Web Coupons are.
  • Also, “Print-at-home internet coupons must be legible, have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on them, have a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and have a scannable bar code.” So Target Web Coupons are store coupons and do not have a remit address, therefore they are not accepted at Walmart stores*.
*A few select Walmart stores may accept Target Web Coupons if that area considers Target a heavy competitor. This is up to the manager’s discretion. If your store does accept Target Web Coupons currently, please know that this is a courtesy, not the rule and may be subject to withdrawal at any time.
