Walgreens - Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.
However sometimes coupons do not trigger that they cashier must adjust the price. Or you may get a cashier that doesnt notice or care. The store is reimbursed the full amount of the coupon from the manufacturer, plus $.08 so I hardly feel bad for them if they dont adjust the coupon.

My walgreens absolutely will not allow overage, even if there is something to eat it up. Is that policy?
