Reader Trips - I WAG'ed and WAL'ed well + Ethical Issue

I went to Walgreens and Walmart this week... check this out! Seriously, I should have a giveaway and giveaway some razors.

Total: $60.48
USED: (7)$5RR

Got: (3)$3, (3)$3, (3)$2

*YES this looks funky... I "had" 4 transactions but we got to talking and the cashier did 3 transactions. I told her and even showed her she gave me 3 receipts. I searched my bag and showed her and even started adding things up, but she had thrown everything into 2 bags and INSISTED she rang up the final transaction. She did take my coupons and one $5RR. Each Transaction had been taking (2)$5RR... I still have 1 so I knew that it was not right. While I WANTED to roll it, I actually saved over $4 by letting her go on. She even pointed to the cameras and said "There are the cameras, I swear I rang it all up."

*Do you think I should have kept fighting her over not ringing up my order properly? She is one of my favorite cashiers and I WANT to go back to her, but I'm a little embarassed.

Walmart:
Borax - For a HouseParty Go Green party on Friday - 2.98
14 - Bic shavers 2pack - .97
7 - Reach Floss - .97
11 - Schick 12pack disposables - 1.97
Total: 45.02
OOP: 2.95

You rock! Awesome shopping. I'm amazed that you can even think straight so soon after having a baby. Re the cashier, I personally think that you did all you could do and to push the issue further might have offended her.

That is a tough one. You brought it to her attention and she insisted she rang it up right. It was probably really confusing at the moment in the store. But now that you got home, you know she didn't ring it all up. I know how you are about fav. cashiers, I am like that with CVS. If it's bothering you (and it seems like it is), you can do the honest thing and go in with your bag of stuff & receipt and just tell them you got home and had "x amount of stuff", but were only charged for "x amount". If she's there, just tell her the same thing. It sounds like she didn't even scan them and just put them in her bag. You didn't do anything wrong, but if it's making you feel guilty... I'd just take it back the next time I went in. Things like that bother me, too and I'd personally rather take it back in the next time I went. They will appreciate your honesty & you'll feel better about it.
