Kim Komando - Daily Download

Have a boring screen saver? Not anymore!

Screen savers aren't as useful as they once were. They were created to keep monitors from being damaged by static images. This was a problem known as "burn in." But it really isn't an issue with modern monitors.

Most people still use a screen saver, though. Why? Well, they're fun. It's just another way to personalize your computer. It gives your computer personality while you’re not using it. But default screen savers are pretty boring.

Switch to the NGC Custom Screen Saver. National Geographic employs some of the best photographers on Earth. They work in the most exotic and beautiful places imaginable. And their best photos are in this screen saver.

Using it is like taking a trip around the world. You'll just want to stare at it. It's tempting to quit using your computer all together. National Geographic releases new photo packs each month. So, you'll want to check back for more dazzling pictures.
