Not near what I would have liked it to be, but I did manage to only spend 25.58% (Granted there were a bunch of freebie coupons I used up.) I also was unable to find more Sure (overage), any Yoplait Greek Yogurt (free plus overage with manu coupons) and I totally forgot about the uncrustables that I would have gotten for free. Now I just need to find something I NEED, and a coupon or 2 for it to put that overage to use. I guess there are always more diapers.

Walgreens:
12 2oz Hydrocortizones - (B1G1 5.99)
I have several $5RR wyb $25.. with NO EXPIRATION DATE! Came right on the flier sometime towards the end of last year. Of course I saved them! But I also wasn't RR/ECB'ing in December/January. The manger was going to manually enter them, instead had the cashier take off 2 and re-ring them as .49 and .50 each,
Total before adjustment 35.94
USED: $1RR, $1RR, $3RR, $5RR

Total OOP: 14.95
Saved: 20.99
This is an amazing deal and really made the hubby happy... something about the Florida water messing with his skin and Cortizone cream is 4.99 for a 1oz tube! To go through 1oz in 2 weeks was getting expensive!! These should last over a year or at least until the next major sale!

Victoria's Secret:
Free PINK Fragrance collection
^Super cute! 3 scents: Hope, Wish, Live

Target:
They did not have the baby monitor, pointed to the Kiosk for me to look it up to see if it was online. After several minutes the kid came over to help. He has been rude to me before b/c I ONLY shop with coupons. The monitor is ONLY available online.

They do not take competitor coupons, so I did not buy the pump I wanted... oh well, $280 they wont get from me.

Babies-R-Us:
Matt at the stollers was AWESOME and super helpful, got me my stroller down, offered to take it out front and even came back up to make sure it was carried to my car! These people are super happy and so caring! I guess that happens when you work with baby and toy retail. Been a while.

I did 3 transactions so that I could use % off coupons for each item. the REALLY sweet girl (Leanne) at the Customer Service checkout really helped me out and said she could save me another 10% if I sign up for the credit card... I NEVER spend this much... last time I did I bought a car. So I gave in. She said she would give more of a discount if I just signed up... I will show you where too.

AngelCare Monitor - 89.99
had a coupon for a $20 Gift Card if you spent $90... she couldn't adjust the price or claim tax to push it over $90, but she showed me another coupon for $10 Gift Card wyb up to 89.99. She also gave me more than the 10% discount for getting the credit card. .. I am not seeing the discount.. hmm
Total: 89.99
Tax: 5.85
OOP: 95.84
Got $10 <--- but it is not clear on the transaction... the 10% clearly was not taken off. Headed back in the AM.

Medela Breast Pump - 279.99
20% coupon - (-56.00)
10% credit card - (-22.40)
Total: 201.59
Tax: 13.11
OOP: 214.70

Expedition ELX Travel system - 199.99
20% coupon - (40.00)
10% credit card - (-16.00)
Total: 143.99
Tax: 9.36
$10 gift card
OOP: 142.35

OK Leanne is not good at math either... the 10% came off AFTER the 20% coupons... so I didn't save 30%, that would have had to come off the top. I likely saved around 25%...

TOTAL OOP: 452.89
TOTAL SAVED: 144.40

still owed 10% from the Monitor = 9.00 <-- will try to get back in the AM

PUBLIX: <--- at THIS point, do you really care what I bought? I don't

Walgreen's - Spent 5.27, Saved 118.65

Last December I took a BIG break from EBCs and RRs and it felt good! Most of January I avoided the stores too. It gets quite tedious to keep up with rolling them each week. I recently got back in the habit and have had fun doing so. Lately I am not trying to rack up more and more.. I am trying to use what I have to make my balance as small as possible. I kinda want to be done with it again.. I havent even bothered with CVS.

I started during the Benefiber deals and spent about $20 OOP on a TON of stuff! At the end of all of that, I had 4- $10RR. The next week They had Joint Juice for $10, get a $10RR. I rolled my 4- $10RRs into 5- $10RRs. I rolled them into down to $37RR last week.... it's SO hard to spend $50 at Walgreens!

So this week Bob needed vitamins and we needed some milk. There were a few other things (like DampRid, but I don't think they sell it) that we needed without without coupons... so I went yesterday to see what damage I could do.

BTW~ Walgreens is doing some corporate changes (so they say) and can no longer adjust up or down to use coupons. It may just be the Walgreens I went to... I've done it plenty of times and Amy has a Walgreens that will adjust up a penny to use her coupons and not have overage. I haven't had that luck. So the final Air Wick coupon would not take :-(

Transaction #1:
Pampers - (8.99 sale) $1.50 2/7SS - GET $1RR
2 Natures Bounty Men's Vitamins - (B1G1 9.99) 2 - $2/1 1/24RP

1/2 Gallon Milk - (1.99)
*They would not let me use the last coupon for the AirWick because they would not adjust it down, so I still used 7 and didn't complain, they have been so nice to me lately!

Walgreens shopping trip - made $18.85 on $285.66 worth of products

WALGREENS
4 Transactions, many problems, AWESOME cashier!
I went on Friday, 15% off Friends and Family appreciation day

First off, the Huggies $3RR did not roll. That's fine
Then, the John Frieda RR did not print up unless the total BEFORE coupons was $15. The manager on duty printed up 2 for me for my 2 transactions containing 3/$15 JF shampoos/conditioners.
Finally, I was a moron and separated the Kotex 2/$6 get $3RR... so the manager on duty had to do an "exchange" and at one point the order was voided because the cashier forgot to put the "employee discount" in first.

So these are not broken down.

2 Kotex - 2/$6 - get $3RR
Use the 15% off Walgreens coupon (will deduct $0.90)
Use $1.50/2 Kotex Tampons printable coupon

4 Dove men's wash - 5.99 - get $6RR
Use the 15% off Walgreens coupon (will deduct $0.90 - 4 times)
Use the $1.50/1 coupon found here (there is also a $1.25/1 coupon from the 1/31 RP)
Final Cost FREE + a $2.40 moneymaker!

6 John Frieda - 3/$15 - get  $5RR
Use the 15% off Walgreens coupon (will deduct $2.25 - 2 times)
2-$5/2 and 2-$2/1 printables no longer available...
also found a $1/1 winetag in the store

Huggies - 8.99 - get $3RR
Use the 15% off Walgreens coupon (will deduct $1.35 - 2 times)
2-$2/1
2-$1 Walgreens
Used one $3RR, did not get a second one - it did not roll after all
So one was 5.99, 1 was 2.99 ($9.00 for 2 packs of diapers is a steal!)

18 Schick Disposable Razors - 5.09
Use the 15% off Walgreens coupon (will deduct .76 - 18 times)
1-$1 Walgreens (took it off of each of them)
18 - $3 manufacturer coupons

TOTAL: $285.66
TOTAL OOP: $18.15
USED: $50RR (5 - $10RR from Joint Juice last week) and $3RR from Huggies (that didn't roll)
GOT:
4-$6RR = 24
2-$5RR = 10
1-$3RR = 3
Total RR = $37RR
TOTAL SAVED = 214.51 + used $53 RR

December 2009 - Tally

Yeah, this is late I know. I have been so busy trying to get caught up on life... Taking into account we did not buy groceries one week while we were in NC with the in-laws and I basically took a break from CVS and Walgreens, we still did a GREAT job in December.

DECEMBER:
Winn-Dixie
* Spent - 16.46
* Saved - 75.26

Publix
* Spent - 198.83
* Saved - 864.93

Walgreens
* Spent - 5.11
* Saved - 25.30

CVS
* Spent - 1.09
* Saved - 38.89

Total Spent: 221.49
Total Saved: 1004.38

So by not shopping on one week, we cut our bill in half... However, when you save, things come up. We had a sick cat $265, she died $95 cremation, the dog needed food and medications that was almost $200. Plus we had Christmas. We spent less than $50 on almost everyone.. so about $300 there... PLUS my husband had to have birthday anddddddd Christmas in the same month... so that was another $350 spent on him. He made up for it at Christmas when he bought me a new computer mouse.... that's it. At least that saved us some that month. anyhooo... we did good!
