did the coupon beep? Wow, I think that's pushing the limits... especially since it's a store coupon, not a manufacturer's coupon. that said, I'm sure walgreens was prepared to take some losses, but.. I just can't get into that. that's definite hoarding and it will contribute to tougher coupon policies in the future. :(
I have heard from some people that the coupon will beep, other stores, no. But the coupon policy is to adjust the coupon down. Period.
I know he covered his whole city... I am not sure if he cleared shelves or not.
But even when I stockpile for donation, I think of those behind me... is leaving 3 on the shelf enough for the next person? When I go to the store and none of these are available and I only wanted 4, (2 for my hubby, 2 for me) and couldnt even get what I wanted for personal use, I would be frustrated!
I didnt try this deal. We have chapstick I got for free 2 weeks ago - Publix Nivea deal - and I can't see taking this to a shelter... "woohoo!! Just what we always needed 3000 chapsticks! Thanks so much"

Wow, that is a lot of chapstick! I would say it's a bit overboard, but if someone wants to spend all their time going to all the Walgreen's around the city, well that is their perogative...
