Sam’s Club is waiving the membership fee for military personnel and
their families as long as the commissaries on military bases remain
closed during the government shut-down. The offer is available to
military personnel, retirees and their families. Just show military ID or proof or past/present
service at the Sam’s Club member services desk. Sam’s Club will continue
to offer the free passes until the commissaries resume operation.

Kudos to Sam’s Club for helping to make things a little easier for
our military and their families who depend on commissaries for low cost
groceries. Our military and their families should not be paying the
price for this madness.
