Free Family Fun

Each week there are a bunch of free events going on, many probably in your city! Save your money and go do something fun with your family... FOR FREE!

BARNES & NOBLE: Friday, Dec. 9th at 7 pm – A Special Holiday Storytime Event featuring “The Polar Express”. And, on Saturdays 11 am is the regular Children’s Weekly Storytime Event. LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday Dec. 10th from 11 am – 3 pm. Kids can make a jolly snowman decoration to add a festive touch to any holiday display! You can go HERE for more information or to find a location.

JOANN’S: FREE Make It-Take-It Christmas Ornaments- all Stores from 11 am – 1 pm. You can go HERE to see more information about this event.

LOWE’S BUILD AND GROW CLINICS: Saturday, Dec. 10th at 10 am. Kids can build their own coal car. This is part 2 of the 2011 Lowe’s Holiday Train. Be sure & attend next week as well, Dec. 17th to build the final car – the Engine. You can go HERE for more information and to sign up.

MICHAELS: Saturday, Dec. 10th and Sunday, Dec. 11th Kids can join Mikey the Elf for a craft adventure around the world and learn about holiday traditions from different countries. This weekend’s countries are Iceland & Japan. On Saturday from 10 – 12 noon, will be Iceland – kids can make a Reindeer Frame; from 12 noon – 2 pm – they will write a letter to Santa. Then on Sunday from 1 – 3 pm, will be Japan – kids can make a Snowman Ornament; then from 3 – 5 pm – they can make a Snowflake Frame. Each week, Mikey will visit a different country. BASS PRO SHOPS: Check out Santa’s Wonderland! Going on now thru December 24th there will be FREE games and activities from open until close. Every weekday, from 3 – 8 pm kids can take a FREE photo with Santa, and from 5 – 7 pm there will be FREE crafts! All events take place on the weekend too, times vary. CHUCK E CHEESE: You can sign up for the Chuck E. Cheese’s e-club and get exclusive coupon deals, get FREE tokens on your child’s birthday, kid’s activities and rewards! POTTERY BARN KIDS: Tuesday, December 13th at 10 am there will be a special reading of How The Grinch Stole Christmas along with holiday activities and a take home booklet (while supplies last.)
