Coupon 101 - How to tell if a Target coupon is a manufacturer coupon BEFORE printing it!

Believe it or not, there is a way to tell if a coupon printed from the Target website is a Target coupon or a manufacturer coupon BEFORE you print it!

Let me first say that when you click on a Target coupon link, you do not get a pretty-preclipped-coupon like many of my other links have. And there is a simple reason for that. I finally got a Target tracking affiliate, so I can now see how much you like Target and my posts about Target by how often you are clicking. If you weren't clicking I would stop posting about Target.

To find the coupons, scroll to the bottom of the Target website and the hyperlink for the coupons is right smack dab in the middle!

Now... which are store coupons!? Store coupons are special b/c you can stack them with manufacturer coupons AND use them at competitor stores!!

MANUFACTURER COUPONS: Manufacturer coupons always use the wording “when you buy.”
TARGET COUPONS: Target Store coupons always use the phrase “with purchase of”. OR Target coupons use no pre-emptive wording at all.
You can right click and view properties....
TARGET COUPONS: Coupons that are Target coupons have images stored in a subdirectory called Target. Images listed in this Target Directory are all store coupons.
MANUFACTURER COUPONS: Coupons that are manufacturer coupons have images stored in a subdirectory called “manufact”. Images listed in this Directory are all manufacturer coupons.
Or if you have the ability to PRINT PREVIEW before printing, you will see what type of coupon they are!

Thanks to Kerry@TotallyTarget for the refresher course!
