Create your own fonts
Your computer can do a million and one things. But you still spend a lot of time typing. You write memos, e-mail, journals and blogs. Staring at the same letters over and over gets boring.I sometimes think Times New Roman will be the death of me. But thankfully, every computer has a number of fonts you can use. And you can download free fonts online.
But if you're feeling creative, you can make your own fonts. It's really easy with FontStruct. You'll build letters individually on a blank grid. Use lots of shapes to make any style you want.
You can download and use your font. And you can browse other users' creations. Your fonts are great for things like flyers, invitations and birthday cards. I'd stick with the boring fonts for anything professional. But you can add a fun touch to personal projects.
WOW! EXTRA HOUR TO CALL ME THIS WEEKEND
This Saturday, I will be taking your calls for a whole four hours! The extra hour will be broadcast when I take a trip. So, if you have a question about something digital, let me help! It takes just three easy steps: 1.) Call the LIVE broadcast. That's this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the East Coast, or, if you live on the West Coast, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. 2.) Know the phone number. It is, of course, toll-free 1-888-825-5254. 3.) Talk to me. That's all there is to it!
