Spirit Air and Haiti Donations = Free Flight

I looked this up after seeing it on a few blogs, and apparently it IS correct. If you donate $5 to one of 3 charities, then you get so many flier points that are good for a free plane ticket. I am not sure if it is a one-way deal or round trip, I guess it depends on where you go.

* In order to qualify for this promotion, the person who donates must be a FREE SPIRIT member. To register for the FREE SPIRIT frequent flyer program, visit https://www.spiritair.com/FreeSpiritEnrollment.aspx. FREE SPIRIT member must donate at least $5 USD to either UNICEF, American Red Cross, or Yéle Haiti and complete the form at http://www.spiritair.com/haiti by January 17, 2010 to qualify for this promotion. The first 200,000 FREE SPIRIT members who qualify for this promotion will be credited 5,000 FREE SPIRIT bonus miles to their account within approximately 6-8 weeks of the completion of this promotion, or by April 1, 2010, which is equal to 1,000,000,000 total FREE SPIRIT bonus miles. A FREE SPIRIT member and account can only qualify once for this promotion, therefore only one donation will count and a maximum of 5,000 FREE SPIRIT bonus miles will be credited to a FREE SPIRIT account.
5,000 bonus miles is enough for 1 roundtrip off-peak award ticket for a member that has an active FREE SPIRIT MasterCard account.
