[Review] Vegetable Spiral Slicer - This is really cool!

This is a fantastic invention! The Sliceeze, the Vegetable Spiral Slicer. We are veggie people here, but we also love noodles. Imagine the surprise of my 4 and 2 year old kids when I made carrot noodles!!

Here I am getting started:

Wow! I love the spiral carrot noodles

They are beautiful....

But it does take some elbow grease! By the second carrot I was hurting... but it was worth it!

I was disappointed that I couldnt get the WHOLE carrot shaved, but that is a LOT of shredded carrot for only 2 carrots! I threw in the nubs that wouldnt shred, and boiled them too! I ate them and they were just as delicious. For our kids... sometimes they need the presentation. I hear that is true one our kids move out and start their own family too... I will go back to expecting pretty things instead of just going with the flow that keeps everyone happy and mom mostly clean.

Here is my son Atlas. He is 4 and recently gave up vegetables. He LOVES his noodles though! (Which is why I keep calling them noodles!) He was blown away that "noodles" could be this long. He even ate one raw. But the ones he is eating in the pictures are steamed for 10 minutes and pretty soft.

"Look mom!!! They swing!" He can play with his food as long as he eats it, and he did!

Kid loved, mother approved!

This Spiral Slicer is really cool!!!! I cant wait to try Zucchini from our garden!
