ShopPerk - a new and improved way to save - 101

Introducing ShopPerk

ShopPerk believes the whole grocery shopping experience is ready for a transformation. From the way you decide what to put on the table to whether or not you keep or trash those piles of coupons in your mailbox, it can be improved upon. That’s why they created ShopPerk. They wanted to merge three key grocery shopping experiences - finding recipes, finding deals and making a list - into one cohesive experience that saves you money while leaving you excited about planning your meals.

Here are just a couple of our long term goals with ShopPerk:

1. Level the playing field
Have you ever found a “Sale” tag in a grocery store that turned out to advertise savings of just a penny? Me too. Cut through the noise and help people understand what items should actually cost, giving the power back to the shoppers.

2. Reduce waste
How often do you throw away a huge drawer full of fresh produce that you forgot to eat, while knowing that you spent the week snacking on chips that expire in a year? Helps you find recipes that actually use that healthy food, and deliver those harder-to-find deals for the fresh aisles around the edge of the grocery store.

3. Making people happy
Ultimately, you want to win at shopping. Just because something is an inevitability in life doesn’t mean it needs to drag you down.

ShopPerk is currently in the alpha stage, but once it launches they plan to keep it in beta indefinitely, so that we can keep expanding and improving upon what we offer to our users.
