Reader Trips - My Publix quick trip - 2/25/12 *UPDATED*

This was a 30 minute trip (plus 10 minutes planning) while the hubby and baby were asleep on the couch. FTR - My baby turns 2 in 1 month! WOW! I must have blinked. It was just a few days ago I announced that he was here... EARLY by a few weeks and then proceeded to take a whopping 4 days off fro blogging. 

I really wanted to get the Pampers to do the Running Out Run In Rebate (spend $30 in select items, get a $5 Publix gift card by mail - ended 2/25/12) It wasn't a HUGE deal, but I had $4.50 in coupons off each pack anyhow and a $5/$30 Publix coupon... AND they were on sale from $10.99 to $9.49. How could I pass all that up?

Also to note: (had I looked at the ad this week) there is a free Rotisserie chicken wyb 4 of a specific item and Pampers was included. D'oh! Looks like I will return again tomorrow!

Total - $5.00 a pack and then submit for the $5 rebate wyb $30 in select products. I COULD have just bought 3 packs of diapers for a total of $30.49... but I wasnt sure if the rebate people would decide that it was $30 BEFORE tax,, even though the rebate says before coupons, I didnt want to risk them looking at the item price and seeing me come up $1.50 short. Not like I wont use the diapers and it was a good price. PLUS the NB diapers have $10 in coupons inside (I havent looked at them yet)

*I did 4 transactions and used 4 $5/$30 Publix coupons too! Those came in mailers last week and I won a set of 4 from CouponersUnited!
