How do you earn swagbucks?

• Search on Swagbucks throughout the day and earn swagbucks (Win once in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and almost always once at night) = amount varies but easily could be 600 a month from searches
• Take the Daily Poll each day and earn 1 swagbuck = 30 swagbucks a month
• Check to see if you have any trusted surveys each day and earn 1 swagbuck just for checking. Do surveys to earn even more = 30 swagbucks a month plus any from surveys you do
• Click through the No Obligation Special Offers each day (you don’t need to do any of them) and earn 2 swagbucks = 60 swagbucks a month
• Watch swagbucks TV (look for codes under the screen after watching the video) = varies
• Enter bonus codes which can be found on their blog, facebook page, twitter page, and widget. I would say you can get at least 50 swagbucks a week from codes = 200 swagbucks a month
• You can also trade-in old cell phones and/or old video games & consoles for swagbucks.
• Watch for pop-up windows at the bottom of your screen with offers in them.  Sometimes its as easy as watching a SHORT video to earn swagbucks.
• Earn 10 Swag Bucks for every coupon you print and redeem at your local grocery store.
• Buy daily deals through them and earn swagbucks.
• If you receive a reward from Swagbucks and take a picture of yourself with it and email it to prizephoto@swagbucks.com you will get 10 free swagbucks
• Finally, you can earn a lot of swagbucks by referring friends. For every swagbuck they earn from a search, you will earn it too (up to 1000 swagbucks)!!!

Before we start if you are unsure what Swagbucks is, read this.

Tips

1.  Download the Swagbucks toolbar for your browser.

This makes it where every quick search you do is automatically through Swagbucks.  There is also a little spot where you will see swagcodes pop up.  They are only good for a few hours so this way you know as soon as possible.

2.  Follow Swagbucks on Twitter and Facebook (if you already use these).

They release more swagcodes through these sites, so you have a better chance of knowing them.

3.  You will probably only win a max of 4 times a day, so after that just chill out a bit so you don’t get burnt out.

Some say that there is a limit per amount of time, and that spreading your searches out will help.  Try searching a little in the morning, afternoon and evening.

4.  It’s not just searching.  You can win Swagbucks for online shopping and by completeing Special offers or watching video ads.

For 3 quick Swagbucks:

• Login or Register
• Go to the Special Offers page (link on the left hand side of their page)
  
  • Go to no obligation special offers and click through all the screens (keep hitting skip).  You will get 1 Swagbuck at the end.
• Go back to the Special Offers page.
  
  • Scroll down just a little and you will see “Wall 1, Wall 2, Wall 3″
  • Click on each wall and then you can select to only look at the Free offers.  Some are free trials that you can cancel. But a few are just for watching an online video you will get 1 Swagbuck.

4.  Swagbucks makes money off of ads, and they are passing some of that revenue onto you when you win swagbucks.

As you search you will notice that some of the top links are always sponsored links.  It never hurts to click on one of those first and then come back and click on the link you really wanted.  I tend to find higher value swagbucks on “sponsored” links.

5.  Friday is MEGA Swagbucks day.  You have a greater chance of earning a high value swagbuck every Friday.  We have gotten 7 and 10 ones in the past!

6.  Stay off of the Swagbucks sites that are personalized for various Actors or other “Channels” you will earn Swagbucks there but they can’t be redeemed on normal Swagbuck prizes.

Advanced Tricks

1.   After you reach your 4 wins for the day, log out of swagbucks and clear your browsing history and cookies.

You can still win Swagbucks when you aren’t logged in so search and then when you do when log in and claim it.  It’s not a proven trick but has worked for us a few times already.

2.  Instead of book marking the sites you go to, bookmark a swagbucks search for that site.  Now every time you open up your email you have “searched” and have a greater chance of winning.

Ex.  Instead of setting a bookmark to your email (or Southern Savers), go to swagbucks, search for your email system and then bookmark the url of that search.

I’ve only been “Swagging” for a month now and am no expert.  We have earned 98 so far this month from searching and other offers and codes.

I have so much “clutter” on my laptop from blogging that I don’t have the tool bar on it. But I do have it on my desk top and my computer at work. I earn more from the computers that I have it on, then the laptop.

6. Recycle your old cell phones and earn Swagbucks. Go HERE and see what yours might be worth. Swagbucks will pay for the shipping for you to send it in, you will be able to print off a pre-paid label and mail it in.
