Leave it on or shut it down?

Leave your computer on all the time or shut it down? This is one of the great debates in computerdom. Leaving it on all the time is convenient. But there are benefits to the occasional shutdown.

Now, lets throw in hibernation and standby. These pseudo-shutdowns help save power. And getting started is faster than a full shutdown. But they don't have the same refreshing benefits of one.

This shouldn't be so confusing. So, just get the benefits of both using Boot Snooze. It will restart your computer and then hibernate or standby automatically. You'll get the refresh of a full reboot. But the hibernate or standby lets you get back to work faster.

This is a cool one-button solution. But it does have one limitation. It only works if you don't have a password on your user account. This is OK, if you're the only one using your computer. Or, maybe you just don't like passwords. If you're willing to go without a password, Boot Snooze is great.
