Gmail question. Help me please

Certainly between all of you there is someone who knows what is wrong with my gmail.

Currently NOTHING is going wrong... but I keep getting this message when I log in:
You are almost out of space for your Gmail account. Once you run out of space, you will not be able to send or receive any emails until you delete some items.
You can view our tips on reducing your email storage or purchase additional storage.
There is no way I am almost out of space when they specifically say "never delete another message" because you can archive it... or because I know for a fact my husband has never delete or archived a thing and still has space.

How do I fix this? (without buying storage)
Thanks in advanced.

At the bottom of your inbox, you will see the current space your emails are occupying.

Mine is like this.

19% full
Using 1476 MB of your 7601 MB

There is a limit on the space but you can archive your emails to avoid that limit. You better to delete emails with bigger attachments to make more space.

Also search on google with below words. There are so many solutions.

how to free up space on gmail.

Off course, most of them point towards deleting large emails or archiving the emails. :)

Mine always said less than 90%... when I delete trash it asks me why I am deleting trash, "with gmail [I] will never have to delete trash again" I call bs.

I found this program: https://www.findbigmail.com/?src=emailfooter

I went back and deleted the top 3 emails (when I emailed wedding pictures 3 years ago) and I deleted over 39K emails in my trash... I am finally down to:
64% full
Using 4895 MB of your 7601 MB

Thanks for the tip!
