Theme Parks - Ya know those photographers?....

It's no secret that I live in the land of theme parks. Orlando is fantastic fun the first year you live here. After that you have to pick and choose.... because you could go broke trying to visit different parks each month.

So this year, 11 years after moving here I FINALLY got an annual pass. There are many options: Disney World and/or their water parks, Sea World or Aquatica or a mix of the two, Discovery Cove, Universal - either/or/both Hollywood Studios/Islands of Adventures, Gator Land, The Holy Land Experience, any number of dinner theatres, Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil, Ripley's, Wonderworks, a million museums, Busch Gardens, Wikiwatchi, Silver Springs, I could go on for years...

However we chose SeaWorld... namely bc I LOVE to pet the mantaray.... and now there is this underwater aqarium at the Manta rollercoaster that simply rocks if you have a kid and can't do the rollercoaster.

Today (second time in 4 days) I was at SeaWorld and we had one of the photographers snap some pictures of me and two girlfriends and our kidlets with our cameras, then asked if he needed to take some with his camera.... We talked and he told me that unlike other parks, there is not a quota. You see, at both Disney and Universal, the picture takers have quota to meet each day which requires them to jump out and harass people to take their pictures.

Disney has come up with the PERFECT solution to this!!! The Photopass program. Kristin has the best explanation of it EVER, right HERE. And while I am not a big Dis-fan, if you are planning the trip, the memory-CD is a drop in the bucket... pocket change at best! So read up! If you are planning a trip, look into this ... and also, hit me up when you get here! Maybe we can meet for drinks!

*And FYI SeaWorld is not about torture and killings to get their animals. They are a rescue. Animals are not hindered from being born there, no animal is aborted, but if an animal is born into captivity, it simply can't be released. That would be cruel.

**That's me with the big'ole'baby on the right... 11 months old, 8 teeth, 24 lbs., walking and (ECing) potty training... the picture was taken by the guy who takes all those touristy pictures I was just talking about.
