Color pop your favorite photos

You can edit your photos to remove imperfections. Or you can edit your photos simply to have fun. There are many cool effects that can be applied to your photos.

One effect is called color popping. Your photo is converted to black and white. Then you can bring a single color back in. Think of your sister’s red hair. Or it could be the green soccer field under the players’ feet.

That single color seems incredibly vibrant against the black and white. It really makes the photo pop. Doing this usually takes a bunch of different tools. Tintii can do it automatically. And it works really well.

Tintii works as a stand-alone program. It can be used as a plug-in for Photoshop. But you’ll have to pay for this feature. Really, it works just fine by itself. Just click Open and select a photo to get started.

It will try to save photos as a .xpm file. Not many programs can open this format. Instead, change the extension to .jpg and click Save. Then, it’ll be like any other photo on you computer.
