You guys know I LOVE this woman! I have no problem with my current search methods, but sometimes I DO wish it were easier to google specific coupons or deals that I cant remember where I found them. If you try this, let me know in a comment!

One bookmarklet, dozens of tools

Surfing the Web is not a linear process. You jump around a lot. A news story can remind you of a product you wanted. But you can't remember the name. Jump to Google to find the name. Then, jump to Amazon to buy it.

All that jumping around means many trips to the address bar. You have to hammer out URLs. Then, you must find the right search box and type some more. We're all very good at this. But maybe there's an easier way.
Give Quix a try. Quix is a bookmarklet that works in any browser. Just drag the Quix button to your bookmarks toolbar. Click it to open the Quix command prompt. From here, you can access multiple sites and programs.

Using Quix is simple. A few letters tells Quix which site or program to use. Say you want to search using Google. Type "g whatever" and click OK. To search Flickr, type "f whatever." There are dozens of commands available. Type "help" into Quix to see a full list.
