Homemade - Tye-die for kids!

Get your sharpies together and then go HERE

They have two kid-friendly projects ready to go....

Sharpie tie-dye
Kids love using intensely colored Sharpie pens but their permanence strikes fear into the heart of all parents (which is probably why kids like using them). But fear not, this method uses Sharpies in a very controlled way. You’ll need:

Sharpie pens in various colors
Smooth white fabric like muslin, cloth napkins or t-shirts (100% cotton works best)
Rubber bands
Wide mouth glass jar
70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol
Eyedropper or small squeeze bottle

or

Painted tie-dye
This will work awesome on a set of white cloth table napkins.  You’ll need:

Acrylic paint (from the craft store)
Textile medium* (also from the craft store, you can find it near the paint)
Paintbrushes
Rubber bands
Wine bottle
White cotton fabric like a napkin or t-shirt
Small container (like a yogurt cup) to mix paint
Water
