Homemade - Scones for St Patty's Day


I'm not convinced I'm a scones kind of girl, but how festive to have these for St. Patricks Day!
  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/2 cup currants
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup heavy cream
