A Winter Springs company will give away free pepper spray in downtown Orlando in the wake of Friday's deadly Gateway Center rampage, a company spokesman said today.
The Thursday giveaway by Skyline USA, Incorporated was created to decrease fear after Friday's shooting at downtown Orlando's Gateway Center office building, spokesman Yasir Sheikh said.
The shooting killed one man and injured five.
The event will take place in and around Orange Avenue, Sheikh said. It will start between 10 and 11 a.m. Between 300 and 400 canisters will be given away.
